Working principle and usage conditions of YEJ electromagnetic brake motor
Braking working principle
The electromagnetic power-off brake is mainly composed of components such as a magnetic choke equipped with a coil, an armature, a connecting plate, a spring, a friction plate, a gear sleeve, etc. The spring is installed inside the magnetic choke, and the armature can move along the axial direction. The magnetic choke is fixed on the machine base by mounting screws and adjusting the gap. After reaching the specified value and not moving, the gear sleeve is connected to the transmission shaft through a key, and the outer teeth of the gear sleeve mesh with the inner teeth of the friction plate. When the coil is powered off, under the action of spring force, friction is generated between the friction disc and the armature, machine base (or connecting plate), and the transmission shaft is braked through the gear sleeve. When the coil is energized, under the action of electromagnetic force, the armature is attracted to the magnetic choke, causing the friction disc to release and release the brake.
Brake working conditions
1. The relative humidity of the surrounding air should not exceed 85% (20 ± 5 ℃)
2. There is no gas or dust in the surrounding medium that can corrode metals and damage insulation.
3. B-level insulation is used around the brake, with voltage fluctuations not exceeding+5% and -15% of the rated voltage, and its working mode is continuous working system installation control requirements.
4. During installation, the accuracy of the fit between the transmission shaft and the brake should be ensured.
Before installation, the brake must be cleaned thoroughly, and there must be no oil stains or dust on the friction surface and inside the brake.
6. The gear sleeve must be fixed axially.
