Hengli Motor teaches you daily motor maintenance
According to market demand, current motors are equipped with bearing oil injection structures when they leave the factory, so that customers can perform oil injection and discharge operations without stopping the machine. Therefore, in order to ensure the safe and normal operation of the motor, in addition to adding an appropriate amount of lubricating grease to the bearings on time, the following necessary daily maintenance items should also be strictly implemented:
1. Clean the dust, dirt, and brush dust inside and outside the motor to ensure a good operating environment for the motor. For wound rotor motors, the brush pressure should be adjusted and checked, and damaged brushes should be replaced or ground to ensure the reliable operation of the motor collector ring system. When replacing the carbon brush, it should be ensured that the material of the carbon brush and the contact area between the carbon brush and the collector ring (exceeding 70%) meet the requirements.
2. Clean and wipe the brush holder, brush holder, and slip ring, especially the surface of the collector ring must be smooth and clean. When there is damage (pits or corrosion points) on the surface of the collector ring, fine sandpaper should be used for polishing treatment.
3. Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the lubrication system, replenish lubricating grease, and replace lubricating oil. This is one of the most critical tasks in motor maintenance, regularly replenishing the motor with grease to ensure that it operates in a well lubricated state and prevent motor stalling caused by poor lubrication.
4. Check and adjust the working condition of the ventilation and cooling system of the motor. The ventilation and cooling system of the motor is related to the temperature rise control of the motor, especially for independent power supply of ventilation and cooling systems such as high-voltage motors and variable frequency speed control motors. It is necessary to ensure that the ventilation and cooling systems are in good working condition during the operation of the motor.
5. Check and adjust the transmission mechanism. According to the transmission of the motor, it is mainly driven by belt pulleys and couplings. Firstly, the connection status between the two should be checked, and secondly, the equipment carried should be checked for any jamming.
