China's first 'permanent magnet high-speed railway' motor
The first "permanent magnet high-speed railway" in China, equipped with the TQ-600 permanent magnet synchronous traction motor developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Machinery Co., Ltd., has recently passed the first round of vehicle line operation test assessment. This means that China's high-speed rail power is undergoing revolutionary changes, becoming one of the few countries in the world that has mastered the traction technology of "permanent magnet high-speed rail".
According to Yan Caisong, the manager of the permanent magnet motor research and development department of CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Machinery Co., Ltd., the TQ-600 permanent magnet synchronous traction motor is a sub project of the National 863 Program "Major Key Technologies and Equipment Development Project for High speed Railways". By adopting the world's new rare earth permanent magnet materials, the problem of demagnetization of permanent magnets has been effectively overcome. At the same time, its ingeniously designed bearing heat dissipation structure can effectively reduce bearing temperature rise, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of traction power. It can be regarded as the "cutting-edge artifact" of China's high-speed railway traction power.
Compared with the YQ-365 asynchronous traction motor of the existing CRH380A high-speed train, the TQ-600 permanent magnet synchronous traction motor reduces weight by 35%, improves efficiency by more than 3%, and saves energy by more than 10%. Calculated based on an 8-car high-speed railway running back and forth once a day on the Beijing Shanghai line, loading this "cutting-edge artifact" can save over 1 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year.
After experiencing "DC" and "AC", the traction technology of global rail transit vehicles is developing towards the 3.0 version of "permanent magnet" drive technology. As a product with completely independent intellectual property rights in China, the successful research and development of TQ-600 permanent magnet synchronous traction motor not only opened the curtain of China's high-speed railway "permanent magnet drive era", but also gave China's high-speed railway a competitive advantage in international competition.
